Switched from disposable spatulas to a metal set and wow what a difference

I used to go through those cheap plastic spatulas from the beauty supply store like crazy. They'd melt or bend after a few weeks of mixing product. Finally dropped $25 on a proper stainless steel set from Amazon last month. The metal ones mix product way smoother and don't leave those nasty scratches on my container sides. Plus I can sanitize them with alcohol without worrying about them warping. Has anyone else noticed cleaner product mixing with metal tools?

My buddy Chris owns a small barbershop in Austin and he told me he switched to metal spatulas after he dropped a plastic one into a hot wax pot and it just dissolved into a sticky mess. He had to throw out the whole batch of wax and lost like $40 worth of product. Now he only uses metal and says he can actually scrape the last bits of product out of those big tubs without bending the tool.

I actually read a blog post from a salon owner in Chicago who tested both plastic and metal spatulas side by side for a month. She noticed way less product waste with metal because it scrapes every bit of the container clean. The plastic ones always left a thin layer behind that just got tossed. Also read that metal doesn't hold onto bacteria as much since it's non-porous. I had the same melting issue with cheap spatulas near warm product too.

Did you try the metal one from the brand Aveda? Honestly, that's the only one that's held up for me without bending or leaving residue.
