Pro tip: Check the Everett Parks website before you head out for a walk

I drove all the way to Forest Park last weekend only to find the main trail closed for maintenance, which wasted my whole morning. It took me about 45 minutes of searching the city's site to realize they post all closures and updates there. Anyone know if the Silver Lake loop is open this week?

Actually it's the Everett Rec website, not Parks. They have a whole section for trail alerts. Silver Lake loop was open yesterday, I was just there.

Honestly @anthonymurray, that website is a pain to use on a phone though.

Yeah the mobile site is pretty rough. I had to use it last week and it kept zooming in weird. What helped me was turning my phone sideways for the trail map part. Still not great but at least I could read the alerts.

Ugh it kept crashing on me too, the desktop version is way better lol.
