PSA: The bike path near the marina is flooding bad today

I ride the waterfront trail by the Everett Marina almost every day, but this morning around 7 AM it was completely underwater near the boat launch area. A big storm drain got clogged with leaves and debris sometime overnight, and now there's a 3 foot wide puddle that goes right across the path. I almost ate it trying to ride through it - my tires slipped and I had to jump off. I called the city public works line (425-257-8821) and they said they'd send someone out by noon, but that's hours away for folks commuting right now. Has anyone else run into this or found a good detour route through the neighborhood?

Actually sounds like the city is doing what they can with limited resources.

Right? Same here, saw them fixing potholes near my place at 7am lol.

Wait, you actually think the city's doing okay with what they've got? I used to roll my eyes at that kind of talk, but after seeing them patch up the same sinkhole on my street three times last month... kinda changed my mind.
