My buddy said my 'five second rule' logic was completely unsanitary

He pointed out that a dropped cracker in my kitchen last week landed right where my dog walks, so I looked it up and the myth is totally busted by science. Anyone have other food safety myths they used to believe?

Wait, you looked it up and it's actually busted? I thought it was just a joke rule. What did the science say, that germs stick right away?

My cousin dropped a whole pizza slice on the dorm carpet once @loganf95... he still ate it and was fine somehow.

Check the research @loganf95, germs don't wait politely for five seconds. My kitchen floor is basically a petri dish now that I think about it. Guess I'll just eat stuff straight from the package like a normal person.
