My neighbor told me my 'five second rule' was a total lie

She said bacteria transfers instantly, not after five seconds. I looked it up and she's right, a study from Rutgers proved it. Anyone else have a food myth they believed for way too long?

My cousin did that with a burger at a cookout last summer. Picked it right up off the deck and took another bite like nothing happened.
