and like I get the whole "you should send cold food back" thing but honestly I had this one time where my fries were cold and I didn't say anything because I didn't want to be a bother. Then the waitress came by and asked how everything was and I said fine because I'm a coward. But later my buddy told me the fries are supposed to be hot and I just sat there eating them anyway. Looking back I should have just said something but it's not like the world ended because my fries were lukewarm. Maybe I just don't have high standards for fast food anymore.

Nah, you're good, cold fries aren't worth the fight.

Last time I got cold fries I just flagged the server and said "hey these came out cold" and they had a fresh batch in like 3 minutes. You don't have to be rude about it, just say it nicely.
