Had to choose between using real peonies or silk ones for a huge wedding arch in July.

Went with silk because the bride's budget was $300 and real ones would have wilted in the Georgia heat. Anyone have a go-to brand for fake flowers that don't look cheap?

Wait, the whole arch budget was only three hundred bucks? That's wild for a July wedding in Georgia. Even silk ones at that price must have been a serious hunt. Did you have to make the arch frame yourself too?

What's the point of real flowers that look dead by the ceremony? Silk was the only smart call. I've had good luck with Afloral for stuff that doesn't scream plastic.

doesn't scream plastic" is such a good way to put it. But I feel like people forget you can dry real flowers too. My sister hung her bouquet upside down for a month and it looked exactly like the day she walked down the aisle, just a little more vintage.
