inVent: People keep buying pre-shredded cheese for 'budget' casseroles and it drives up the cost per ounce.
Honestly, I was totally on team pre-shredded for years! The time saved felt huge. But then I actually timed myself grating a block last week and it was like five minutes, tops. The texture is so much better in a baked dish, and that price difference really adds up over time. I get the convenience factor, but once you try it, it's hard to go back.

inJust found out the first edition of 'The Great Gatsby' sold less than 25,000 copies
Man, you're so right about that, @nathana48. It's wild how time changes what we see as good. I bet there's some amazing stuff on someone's hard drive right now that just doesn't fit our current trends. The trick is to just make the work for yourself and put it out there, then let go. Who knows what sticks? Makes you want to go digging in old forums for lost stories, doesn't it?

inA client recorded my every move on the job
Totally feel that. My landlord put a camera in the shared hallway. Now I'm overthinking just walking to my own apartment. Like, do I look normal? Did I drop something? It makes a simple trip feel like a performance.
