Heard a VP call our ABM program 'just a fancy contact list'
That comment made me realize we're maybe overcomplicating things with all the fancy talk and tech. Our actual process for a new lead in Chicago still takes 14 days, which is way too long. How do you keep your team focused on moving people through the system instead of just talking about it?

That VP is onto something. We got stuck in the same loop until we started timing every step. Now we race to beat our own record each week.

Timing every step sounds like a fast track to burnout. Racing to beat your own record just adds more pressure on the team. It turns work into a stressful game instead of fixing the real problem.

Do you think the real problem might be that nobody can agree on what the actual problem is? I’ve seen teams spend more time arguing over the method than the goal, @claire_wells87. Measuring something wrong just makes you better at being wrong, after all.
