Tried account-based marketing for 6 months, thought it was a gimmick

We rolled out an ABM program at our SaaS company back in February. I was convinced it was just a fancy way to send more cold emails. But after targeting 30 specific accounts in the Chicago area, we closed 4 deals worth $280k total. The personalized content actually made a difference. Has anyone else seen ABM work better for certain industries than others?

Read a study once that said luck beats skill in sales sometimes.

That "luck beats skill" part hits home because I closed my biggest deal last year just by being the first one to answer the phone.
