I was there yesterday to pick up a book for my kid and I could not stop looking at the ceiling. The drywall on those curved arches is just perfect, not a single seam or ripple I could see. It must have taken some real skill to get those compound curves so smooth. Has anyone here ever worked on a job with curves like that, and what's the trick to keeping the mud from cracking?

So last week, this farmer I know calls me up. He had a cow get hit by a truck on his road, not sick or anything, just bad luck. He asked if I wanted the meat, since it was fresh and he didn't want to waste it. I've always hated when meat gets thrown away, but this isn't how we usually do things. It made me wonder about the line between using what we have and sticking to the rules. Part of me says feed people, the other part worries about setting a bad example. What do you all think?
