inRemember when everyone just threw a few pots on a patio and called it a garden?
Twelve hours?! That's insane...

inUsed to buy those pre-cut veggie trays for $12. Now I just grab a whole cabbage and a couple carrots for under $3.
Yeah the pre-cut veggie tray thing... I used to fall for that all the time. It's just cabbage and carrots like you said, maybe some broccoli. Felt like a genius the first time I bought a whole head of celery and just chopped it myself... saved so much.

inUpdate: My attempt at air fryer 'fried' pickles went a bit sideways
Wait, does that actually work? I tried that once and it made the whole thing way less greasy.

inPSA: I watered my orchids with tap water for years before a friend in Miami pointed out the chlorine.
My buddy had the same thing happen with his fern, @keith426. He used tap water for ages and the leaves just got all brown and crispy. Turns out the minerals in our water here build up in the soil over time. He switched to filtered water and it made a huge difference.

inThat week my old drip machine died and I had to figure out pour-over at 6 AM.
Totally get where you're coming from. I felt the same until my machine broke and I tried a cheap pour over setup. The big thing for me was tasting the actual coffee, not the paper filter or plastic taste from the old pot. It's like hearing a song on good speakers for the first time, you notice details you missed. Now my morning coffee is the one quiet thing I actually look forward to.
